TestingPsychological testing and evaluation are often indicated when an individual is experiencing difficulties which do not seem to be linked to a clear or obvious cause. Testing can often lead to a better understanding of an individual's functioning, their strengths and weaknesses, and their coping strategies. Testing can also assist in developing a more accurate diagnosis and/or treatment plan, as well as provide evidence for legally allowable entitlements. I conduct testing in an atmosphere of comfort and safety. Respect for the individual is paramount at all times. I do not believe in testing unnecessarily, rather, testing is conducted if it will help clarify an issue and assist in an individual's subsequent treatment.
